New Year’s Shark Trail

Hello Spearcrazy Friends!

First, we have received some great comments to our blog here at the Daily Dive recently and would like to extend our gratitude to those of you who have been keeping up with us here. If you enjoy our blog, please contact us here at Spearcrazy and let us know!

Our Daily Dive report today comes from a great session at the end of last week. This session was a great, exhilarating experience for our founder Captain James.

The Dive took place on an absolutely beautiful day with relatively calm seas and so-so visibility except for in the deeper water.

On a known wreck dive here in the Middle Keys, Captain James followed the trail of a few good sized Cobia. Before he could plug one of the few that darted in and around the mid-water level, a good sized Bull Shark appeared with some hasty intentions.

At first Captain James pull back to the surface to follow and monitor the actions of the Bull, but when the shark came by for another pass James noticed that the shark had a few precocious guest accompanying in his trail.

The visitors were a nice small pack of Cobia ready for the taking and at the next pass as the Bull Shark cruised by Captain James swam near the middle of the swarm of Cobia and pulled a nice size trailer in the pack. Not a bad way to start another fresh year of Spearfishing the Florida Keys!

Have a look at the pics and be sure to Contact Spearcrazy for info on your next trip to the keys or how to get your hands on the best Spearfishing clothing around!

Peace,

Spearcrazy
